Pirate earns Boxer Club Of Canada's "The Royal Trophy" for Canada's TOP obedience Boxer in 2008 What an amazing honor!

Fully Health Tested, Results available upon request.

Pirate was my first conformation dog, she always placed in AKC and has TWO points from her one and only time showing in Canada. Pirate retired to the whelping box, only being bred once and producing an Amazing litter for us! She was bred to Can Ch. Mephisto's Caruso SOMC, FD, FDX, ADC. This litter produced 6 pups and 5 are all show dogs. Four of which are already Finished Can Champions, Which in turn made Pirate our first Dam Of Merit Canada in her one and ONLY litter . Three of her kids are pointed here in the USA. Pirate is now enjoying life in obedience, rally and agility.

Pirate was the start of my time in the conformation ring. She had her faults as ever dog does, but she had the heart of gold and LOVED to be in the show ring. She was shown in Canada once and was awarded WB under judge Ms. S Quesnel for 2 points. I never took the time to go back up with Pirate until we went for her CKC CD.

Pirate was also been shown Internationally. In November 13th and 14th, 2002 she earned 2 V-1 ratings. She went Best Of Breed under AKC judge Mr. D Bichford and went on to a Group Second under AKC judge Mr. Greathouse. On May 10th Pirate went WB, BOS for our Championship, thank you to Judge Mr. Levien deBruyne Ontario, Canada.

In my quest to become an owner handler I have taken private lessons, handling classes & seminars, and gone a couple fun matches in my area. In April of 2002 I took Pirate to an ALL Breed Sanctioned fun match where we took BOB, Group 1 and went on to Best Adult in Match under AKC/CKC judge Mr. Larry Coleman. What a thrill!!! We also went to the Interstate Fair where "BIS" was a combination of conformation scores and obedience scores, and there we took our second Best In Show. As you can imagine, we're hooked.

I am a member of Lilac City Dog Training Club here in Spokane. Pirate is the youngest dog in our All Breed club 35 year history to obtain her CGC title at the young age of 5 days before she was six months old, what an honor.

In April of 2008 Pirate and I decided we had a goal, to earn our Companion Dog Titles in AKC, CKC and UKC and we were able to achieve this by the begining of Nov 2008 with VERY limited showing! Two UKC trials, so four tries each, two CKC trials and two AKC trials. What an amazing and fun quick ride we had!

April 11, 2008 At the Dogwood Boxer Club Pirate earned her first leg towards her Canadian CD title. On August 7th and 8th at the Manitoba Canine Association Pirate earned her second & third leg earning her CKC CD. On Sunday the 10th of Aug Pirate won High In Trial for the Boxer Club of Canada Specialty held by MCA with a score of 196.

In May, 2008 Pirate earned two legs toward her AKC CD title.

In Nov 2008 Pirate earned her UKC CD title. Finishing with a HSGDIT!

We finished her last title on Nov 16th 2008!

Pirate at age 10 with my son Jordan William Moore

In June of 2011 we lost Pirate to ulcerated IBD. To say the least my heart is completely broken and the Poem below means a lot to me.

I Loved You Best
So this is where we part, My Friend,
and you'll run on, around the bend,
......gone from sight, but not from mind,
new pleasures there you'll surely find.
I will go on, I'll find the strength,
life measures quality, not its length.
One long embrace before you leave,
share one last look, before I grieve.
There are others, that much is true,
but they be they, and they aren't you.
And I, fair, impartial, or so I thought,
will remember well all you've taught.
Your place I'll hold, you will be missed,
the fur I stroked, the nose I kissed.
And as you journey to your final rest,
take with you this...I loved you best.
